BIOGRAPHY

Karina Matheus is Venezuelan-American artist and writer. She has exhibited in special shows in the context 57th, 58th and 59th Venice Biennale (Italy) and Luciano Benetton Collection. Her paintings have been exhibited in International Art Fairs such as Scope NYC, Parallax AF London, Pinta Miami, Art Boca Raton, Art Concept Miami Art Week, Art Palm Beach International, Red Dot Art Fair, among others. She has exhibited in galleries and curatorial spaces in London, Bristol, New York, Madrid, Panamá, Costa Rica, Caracas, Miami, and Wynwood, renowned Art District in South Florida.
She attended the Cristobal Rojas School of Arts and School of Arts of Central University of Venezuela. She studied music, photography, literature and dance, disciplines that developed even more her artistic vision.
She also earned a BA in Mass Communications with a Film and Video Production Specialization from Andres Bello Catholic University and a Marketing Specialization from Metropolitan University, both in her hometown.
Her pieces are in Private Collections in London, Bristol (UK), Treviso (Italy), New York, North Caroline and South Florida (USA), Panama (Panama) and Caracas (Venezuela).
As a writer, her stories have been published in compilations with Spanish editorials in United States and digital literature magazines. She studied a Master in Creative Writing with Escuela de Escritores de Madrid, Spain.
She lives and works between London, Miami and New York.
